Warm up this winter at the Family Day at the Evanston History Center! Enjoy free family fun inside the historic Dawes House with games, crafts, live music, and cozy refreshments in a festive atmosphere.

About the event:
Come out of the cold and into the Dawes House for a free family winter fun day! Drop in any time between 4-6pm and we’ll have classic games, live piano music, warming refreshments, a reading of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and winter crafts for kids.

All holiday events include admission to the “It’s All Fun and Games” exhibition* and photo opportunities in the decorated Dawes House.

*Note that a portion of the exhibit is on the second floor, accessible via one and a half flights of stairs.
