This tour covers both the double houses featured Design Evanston’s book Hidden in Plain Sight: Evanston’s Double Houses and a look at the Prairie School in Evanston. The Ridge Historic District is a unique microcosm of both genres, including designs by Myron Hunt and Walter Burley Griffin. Led by Kris Hartzell. Meets at Dewey School, 1551 Wesley Avenue.
