About the event:

The Evanston History Center’s newest exhibit, “The Curated Store: How Marshall Field’s Changed the Way Evanston Shopped,” runs from April 6th to June 7th, 2024. This charming exhibition will explore Marshall Field’s influence on Evanston’s shopping culture and beyond.

In celebration of the new exhibit, the Evanston History Center will host a special program featuring historian and author Dr. Leslie Goddard. Dr. Goddard will present her talk titled “Remembering Marshall Field’s,” drawing from her extensive research and expertise in American cultural history and women’s history.
