The ABCs of Charles Gates Dawes

Join Marilyn Price, award-winning puppeteer, storyteller, and educator for a special Election Day event that leads us in the creation of the ABC book.

Vice-President Charles Gates Dawes is featured in the creation of the ABC book, recalling his amazing life and legacy. Dawes was an Evanston resident, Nobel Peace Prize (the letter P) recipient, ambassador (the letter A), musical composer (the letter M), and much more. The program will be emceed by her Charlie puppet and will incorporate all your ideas and thoughts on what makes a person notable.

Refreshments will be served outside on the east patio, music will be in the library, and the program will take place in the front room. This event is open to families of all ages. We hope to see you there!

Registration is required. Admission: Free.
