$20.00 – $60.00Virtuoso ragtime pianist Reginald R. Robinson, winner of the distinguished MacArthur Award, is internationally known for his innovative ragtime piano works. Robinson will play a concert of ragtime classics and original compositions in the atmospheric Dawes House on one of the Dawes’ House treasures- a rare 1893 Steinway grand piano.
In addition to his concerts and recordings, Robinson is internationally known for his research and lectures which have aided in preserving the legacy of African American history. His music has been used in theater and film, including the independent film Compensation (2000), which was recently inducted into the National Film Registry in 2024.

Tickets for this special event cost $40. History Center members receive a $5 discount.
Self-selected $60 pay-it-forward tickets (which allows those who cannot afford $40 to pay less the attend) and $20 accessible tickets (for those who cannot afford $40 at this time) are also available.
