The Legacy Walk

The Legacy Walk is in honor of the Guild of the Evanston Historical Society and will be a permanent tribute to the years of service provided to the Society by the dedicated members of the Guild. Organized in 1960, the Guild was a working organization in which volunteers gave their time and talents to build a stronger Historical Society. The Guild dissolved in 2000, but its legacy lives on at the Dawes House.

Honor meaningful people and events in your life with an engraved 6X9 inch brick. Your personalized brick will be installed in the newly created Legacy Walk, which connects the front walk of the historic Charles Gates Dawes House to the beautiful east side yard and terrace overlooking Lake Michigan.

Price for one brick is $275 for a 6X9 inch brick with up to five lines of inscription, with 20 characters per line.
